SHIRA WANTS TO WIN THE NOBEL PRIZE
Shira came home, placed her schoolbag on the floor and declared –
"Today, in the break between the lessons, they didn't allow us to play in the playground, so a few of us remained in the classroom and talked about the work we would have to prepare for the next science lesson. I suggested that perhaps we should write about a new invention that we would invent, and one of the boys said that they had already invented all the important inventions and perhaps it would be better if we wrote about an existing invention."
"I think that you were right, Shira, there are still many inventions waiting for new inventors" – her father said.
"But what would be good for me to invent, Father? And from what does an invention originate?"
"There are inventions that were invented by chance, and there are others that were invented after a long period of study and research. But I think that at the bottom of them all there was the simple thing which you described before. In my opinion every single person has to believe that they are capable of bringing about change in the world, and even the sky is not the limit, and everything begins with that."
"Father, what is the Nobel Prize? Who created it?"
Join Shira and her father and perhaps one day you will also win the Nobel Prize.
