This is the third book by Shifra Safra, nee Hoizman, to appear, first in Hebrew and now in English. Before it, there appeared her books “Before You Cross The Threshold – Jerusalem Tales of Old,” which was translated into English, and also “Clever Jerusalemite,” a collection of short stories which was also translated into English.

In this book Shifra returns once again to the bygone world of her childhood, and infuses her memories with her rich imagination as a storyteller of Jerusalem stories.
